Before opening RMF in 2014, our founder, Reece, worked at Barclays Capital stuck on the trading floor. He lived the life you’re living: spending 10+ hours a day immobile, stressed, and trying to "fit in" a workout around a brutal schedule. His health spiralled as he fell into the trap of eating less and training more—only to see zero results.
He realized the "normal" gym model was broken for successful people. So, he left the City to build a smarter approach.
With a degree from Loughborough and a Masters in Clinical Nutrition, Reece built the RMF Method—the first truly holistic transformation studio in the UK. We’ve spent the last 12 years helping E14’s working population lose 2-3 stone in months, not years, without requiring them to live in the gym.

We aren't a "normal" gym, and we don't train people who want to feel "normal." If you’ve "tried everything" and failed, it’s because you haven’t looked at the full picture. Time for a new story.
With no membership fees, no training in a busy gym and with expert trainers the environment here at RMF is different. We pride ourselves on our 100% record of results with clients and we have the photos and the testimonials to prove it. But unlike other gyms whose only focus is on the exercise, we’re focused on improving your health at the same time. Something you cannot get from eating less and moving more.
When you start with us, we go through a 15-page questionnaire which outlines exactly where you are with your health right now, because this transformation is all about YOU and YOUR GOALS.
Then depending on your goals, we look at measuring or tracking such as the Biosignature body fat measuring, progress photos or the scale. If you don’t know what your starting point is, you can’t possibly hope to measure the difference over the coming weeks.
Looking at areas such as sleep, digestion, stress levels, diet, exercise, blood tests, mindset, injuries and more, we’re able to craft a truly personalised plan of exercise and food that keeps things entertaining while still achieving results.
We understand that some of this might sound skeptical, because what we do is not mainstream in a ‘normal gym’.
But we are not a normal gym and don’t often train people who want to look and feel normal. Which is probably why you’re here reading this.
Our personal training studio in Canary Wharf is fitted with the highest quality equipment, for your safety and convenience. Changing rooms, towels and shower facilities are all provided at no extra fee.
But if you’re looking for treadmills and spin bikes, this might not be the place for you. We’ve swapped the fancy equipment for the stuff that works much better and is often much nicer to use.
If you’re looking to also train 7 days a week, this isn’t the gym for you. We find it completely unnecessary to train that often because we are big proponents of working efficiently and improving your health.
Working out that often with a job, family and life stresses, extra workouts just means more load.
And more isn’t always better. More is just more for your body to recover from.
