This morning I measured Meghna, who recently started training with us at RMF.
She has dropped 3.5kg or half a stone in just a few short weeks.
She had tried many programs before, including working with other personal trainers.
She was so excited this morning. Her friends and family have all commented on the difference!
Previously nothing had worked for weight loss.
But this time it was different.
I asked her what she thought made the difference this time.
She replied, ‘The extra focus on health. Especially on sleep’.
I’m really pleased with Meghna’s changes, but not just because of her weight loss.
But because she now sleeps 8 hours every evening.
And she has even lowered her blood pressure medication. In fact, her doctor has told her next time they meet she’s likely to be off the medication completely!

So if you’re fed up with non existent weight loss, know that there is ALWAYS a solution.
Maybe you just haven’t found it yet.
Before you get too hard on yourself for non existent weight loss, make sure you are doing the following.
You need to be getting at least 8 hours sleep every evening. That doesn’t include waking up in the night to go to the toilet.
2. Reducing Stress
Stress is a killer of your metabolism. The body will not burn fat efficiently if it thinks you’re running away from a lion.
3. Don’t do low carb
Low carb diets seem to be all the rage these days but for most of the people who come to us with slow or non existent weight loss, they are a terrible idea. Why? Because the body will raise stress hormones to provide energy. And as we noted above, this kills your metabolism.
Put these 3 tips into practice and you’ll be well on your way to some quick sustainable, weight loss.
